I am Uxía Fernández Folgueiras, a professor and researcher at the Faculty of Psychology at the Autonomous University of Madrid. My research focuses on the use of electroencephalography to understand how the brain processes emotional stimuli, aiming to unravel the mechanisms that modulate our attention. Outside the lab, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, listening to music, traveling, and cycling.
