Ana Almodóvar Pérez
About me
Biologist graduated by Complutense University of Madrid, with a master's degree in Industrial and Environmental Biotechnology by Complutense University of Madrid. For four years I participated in “MicroMundo/Small Word Initiative”, a citizen science project to discover new antibiotics and promote scientific culture in schools and institutes throughout Spain.
Currently, I am working at IMDEA Agua as a Research Assistant in the Aquatic Ecology and Biotechnology group, identifying microorganisms and mechanisms of antibiotic resistance in the environment.
As a good biologist I love the countryside and animals. I also like going to festivals, playing video games and dancing bachata.
