Miguel González Ximénez de Embún
About me
I am an agricultural engineer and work as a postdoctoral fellow at the Museum of Natural Sciences.
My career has focused on agricultural pest control from various perspectives with a focus on sustainable methods. I did my PhD studying the effect of drought on a tomato pest. Subsequently, I have carried out work on insect ecology and I am currently working on a project to find natural enemies of a pest of olive, grapevine and almond trees mainly.
I really like to carry a rucksack on my back. Either to go in search of insects with a butterfly hunter, or for a route in the mountains or to go on a trip. I also love music and theatre, they teach us to see the world in a different way.
