About me

PhD in Condensed Matter Physics and Nanotechnology from the Autonomous University of Madrid in 2016. He completed his doctoral thesis focused on the theory of nanomechanical sensors with applications in biological detection and has been part of the Bionanomechanics group at the CSIC's Institute of Micro and Nanotechnology since 2010. His main research areas include nanomechanical spectrometry for pathogen detection and identification, the detection of mechanical vibrations in biological entities, and the mechanical properties of cells and their relationship to cancer. Apart from science, he is passionate about golf, nature, and good food.
