I studied a degree in chemistry from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, with special interest in inorganic chemistry. After that, I went abroad to the Uiversidad de Salamanca to take a master´s degree in supramolecular chemistry, specializing myself in the synthesis and study of nano and inorganic materials. My career, aside from the academic research, has being centred more around scientific communication, a topic in which I have worked in several fields such as radio, TV, museums, and different social medias and companies.
Nowadays I work at the Advanced Porous Materials Unit of IMDEA Energía as a predoctoral researcher developing new hybrid materials for the capture and transformation of CO2 into different added-value products such as precursors of drugs and plastics.
Regarding my hobbies, I love scientific communication (as I think is I little bit obvious) and i´m also very fond of true-crime documentaries, science fiction and horror films/books.
