Full Professor of Applied Economics at the University of Macerata (Italy). She teaches in the Department of Law on industrial economics, economics of innovation and economics. Her main fields of research focus on the analysis of industrial dynamics (with particular reference to environmental and health industries), the third mission of universities, sustainability and circular economy, industrial policies and the development of the Chinese economy. She participates and has participated as coordinator or principal investigator in numerous national and EU projects. She is an expert evaluator for the European Commission, in the framework of the Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe programs. She is coordinator and principal investigator of the TRUST Project: digital TuRn in EUrope.
