PhD in Information Sciences and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication at the Faculty of Economics, Business, and Communication at the Universidad Europea de Madrid (UEM). She is a founding member of the research group Discurso y Lengua Española (DILES) at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, with whom she received the CERMI awards for social and scientific research (2010) and the Vodafone award for innovation in Telecommunications (2011), and she is a member of the Suade.
