My name is Miguel Gómez and I am working as postdoctoral researcher at IMDEA Energy. My work focuses on the photophysical and photochemical study of new materials with photocatalytic properties for the solar fuel production from water. For this purpose, we prepare a broad family of materials and organic-inorganic hybrids. They are characterized by photophysical techniques such as time-resolved fluorescence and laser flash photolysis. Regarding my hobbies, I particulary love visiting my family and travel at around the world.
