Postdoctoral researcher in the Polymer Biotechnology Group at the Center for Biological Research (CIB-CSIC). I got my PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biomedicine at Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and my doctoral thesis was about enzymes with antimicrobial activity. Currently, my work is focused on the study and characterization of enzymes capable of degrading bioplastics, to use them as biocatalysts in enzymatic recycling processes. Outside the lab, I like to dance, go to the theatre, and travel.
