About me

I have a PhD in Molecular Biosciences from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). For 13 years I worked as a researcher in protein engineering at the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, at the DWI-Leibniz Institute for Interactive Materials (Aachen, Germany) and at the UAM.
In 2022 I joined the group “Frontiers in Catalysis” of Prof. José Alemán at the Department of Organic Chemistry at UAM where I am in charge of everything related to R&D project management.
I am passionate about science and its dissemination to the general public, having participated in several editions of Europe Day and February 11-International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, reading historical novels, watching movies and series, going to concerts, and taking care of my little plants.
