PhD. from the UAM (2008) and Professor of Parasitology in the Department of Preventive Medicine, Public Health and Microbiology of the Faculty of Medicine of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. My main research interests are the study of resistance in flagellate parasites, the search for natural products as biopesticides and antiparasitics, and the study of the human microbiota.
In my free time I love to enjoy the company of my family and friends, travel, practice sports (better if it is outdoors) and enjoy movies and music, especially live music.
