About me
Since September 2022 I am Assistant Professor at the Department of Ecology of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. My research activity has focused on studying the effects of global change, such as temperature increase and ultraviolet radiation, on oceanic plankton metabolism. Currently, I am part of the Microbial Ecology and Continental Aquatic Systems research group and belong to the Biodiversity and Global Change Research Center (CIBC) of the UAM. I continue studying marine ecosystems, and extending this line of research to continental aquatic systems, mainly in temporary lagoons in extreme environments.
My great passions are scuba diving, sailing, yoga and African dance, always much better if they are shared with loved and fun people.
