Field of work: Cancer Research - Chromosomal Instability and Tumorigenesis.
I am Jorge Melones Herrero, pre-doctoral researcher at the IIBm, Faculty of Medicine UAM, studying the mechanism of action of new unconventional metallic prototypes in cancer treatment. Music is essential in my life and besides always trying to discover songs, artists and bands, I receive singing training and previously I took piano lessons. Outside of work I love to spend time with my family and friends, and make a variety of plans, from having a drink, to going to the movies or hiking. I am a great lover of animals and nature, and I generally prefer to make outdoor plans. Living new experiences and getting to know new places is one of my biggest hobbies, so whenever I can I try to spend my time traveling.
