Field of Work: Ancient Greek history with a gender perspective. I am dedicated to the study of Greek women, specifically how their lives developed from childhood to their death. I work on marriage and family, trying to determine what was the real capacity of women to own property. I am also interested in the role of women in colonial settings, as local women were the ones who married Greeks arriving from elsewhere in the Mediterranean and formed mixed societies.
Hobbies and interests: My favorite thing is traveling to all over the world. I do have a weakness for Greece and Italy, though. I also love spending time with my friends and family and belly dancing.
