About me
I am a geographer, and I have developed my teaching and research career from the beginning at the University of Alcalá. The research I have participated in is mainly related to the impact that various disturbances (forest fires, droughts, deforestation) have on our forests, making society increasingly vulnerable. I have supported the search for answers to help mitigate these environmental problems through the use of remote sensing, using different sensors that observe and monitor vegetation cover and its dynamics from the local to the global scale.
