My academic and professional background is closely linked to the Complutense University of Madrid. Specifically, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Biology, my Bachelor’s thesis, and my doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Biological Sciences. Currently, I am a professor in the mentioned faculty within the Department of Biodiversity, Ecology, and Evolution. I teach in the field of botany. As for my research focus, it corresponds to the phytochemistry of vascular plants, specifically the study of essential oils from aromatic plants.
On a personal level, as a true biologist, I have a deep love for nature and animals, which I dedicate my free time to.
