About me

I am a predoctoral researcher in our laboratory at the Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria of the Hospital Clínico San Carlos. I studied a degree in Biochemistry at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM 2017-21), and a master's degree in Genetics and Cell Biology at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM 2021-22). Currently, I am a PhD student in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biomedicine at the UCM. My thesis consists of the study of lipid metabolism alterations in TDP-43 proteinopathies in order to find a new physiopathological mechanism. I use molecular biology techniques (immunohisto/cytochemistry, qPCRs, flow cytometry, WB, etc...) and large-scale molecular study through lipidomics and transcriptomics. One of my main hobbies is travelling.
