About me
I graduated in Biotechnology (UPM) and after a master’s degree in Immunology (UCM), I started the adventure of doing my PhD! And here I am, in the third year of my thesis, working in the 3D Laboratory: Development, Differentiation and Degeneration, at the Margarita Salas Biological Research Center (CIB-CSIC). Throughout my time in this group (where I also did my Final Degree and Master's Thesis) I have been participating in several interdisciplinary projects based on micro and nanotechnology, collaborating with physicists and chemists from the Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona and the Federal Polytechnic School of Lausanne (Switzerland). In addition to science, I like teaching and divulgation: I teach school support classes and I have participated in several CSIC's dissemination initiatives such as “nanotechnology comes to the institute” and “Nanoscientists in 60 seconds”. Catholic, half-Toledan-half-Madrilenian, I love spending time with my family and friends, doing crafts, cooking and taking trips.
