About me

Ana's research activity has been developed in the field of environmental pollution and its impact on human health. Ana is a pharmacist and, after specializing in the contamination of agricultural soils, she expanded her research after her stay in Canada towards the evaluation and remediation of contaminants in the terrestrial and aquatic environment. Currently, she is a Researcher at IMDEA Water, in the Soil and Water Quality group, and she focuses her research on contaminants of emerging concern in the agricultural and livestock environment. Ana loves walking in nature and going to her cooperative's garden to help out when she can, she cares about sustainable consumption and food, and community activities in her neighborhood, she really likes to dance and her African percussion classes and, what else, enjoy her latest project, her little daughter.
