I am M.Sc in Chemistry by the University of Basque Country. After finalizing my university degree I went to Finland and I conducted my PhD studies, focused on the removal of heavy metals using membrane technology. After several years living in Finland I returned to Spain and nowadays I work in IMDEA Water, in the area of membrane technology. More specifically my work in focused on implementing membrane technology for wastewater treatment and the removal of contaminants such as micronanoplastics. In my free time I enjoy being with my family, especially with my two children, hiking and I also enjoy a lot watching TV series.
