Daniela Torruella Salas
About me
PhD student in Hydrology and Water Resources Management. Since 2019 I have been working in the Bioe group at IMDEA Water, specialising in microbial electrochemical technologies. My scientific career is summarised with the study of biosensors for wastewater quality and detection of groundwater pollutants. My hobbies include art and nature, between painting watercolours, climbing and hiking.
She joined IMDEA Water in November 2022 as a research assistant for Bioe group. Her contract is funded by the European Union – Next Generation EU, through the “Investigo Programme”, within the framework of the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism of the European Union.
