Ana María Diez Pascual


About me

Graduated in Chemistry (2001, Extraordinary Award) from the UCM, where she completed her PhD with an FPU scholarship (2002-2005). In 2005, she undertook a research stay at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids & Interfaces (Germany). She was a postdoctoral researcher (2006-2008) at the Physical Chemistry Institute of Aachen University (Germany). In 2008, she moved to the Institute of Polymer Science and Technology (ICTP-CSIC). In 2014, she joined the University of Alcalá with a Ramón y Cajal contract. In 2020, she was appointed Associate Professor and in 2024, Full Professor. She has over 200 publications. In 2012, she was awarded the TR35 Spain prize for her innovative work in the field of nanotechnology. In 2020, she was named a Member of the Young Academy of Spain.
