Carla Morales Pujante

About me

My name is Carla Morales Pujante, I have a degree in Marine Sciences from the University of Alicante and a master’s degree in Environmental Contamination, Toxicology and Health from the University of Valencia. Currently, I work at IMDEA Water Institute as a pre-doctoral researcher in the Aquatic Ecology and Biotechnology group. My thesis will focus on the investigation of the relationship between aquatic ecosystems and pollinators, more specifically on how toxic blooms of cyanobacteria can affect bee populations. This doctoral thesis will be developed through the PhD program of Hydrology and Water Resources Management at the University of Alcalá de Henares.
I love nature and therefore my hobbies include walks in the countryside, hiking trails and scuba diving. Another of my great passions is music, I play the guitar and sing (or at least I try to), I spend many hours listening to music and looking for information about my favorite genres and artists. The same happens to me with movies and reading.
