Program to strengthen the community of science-based startups in the Community of Madrid.

The program is aimed at:

• Deep tech entrepreneurial projects (scientists, researchers, professionals, entrepreneurs, etc. with links to institutions with scientific activity and headquarters in the Community of Madrid (universities, OPIs, hospitals, public and private foundations,...) that carry out their professional activity and want to establish in the Community of Madrid a company with a high degree of innovation based on the scientific knowledge generated. 20 entrepreneurial projects will be selected and each of them will receive 5,000 euros for the development of a “Startup Founding Plan” that will define the steps. and tools necessary for the creation of a new company.

• Deep tech startups. Companies legally established as of January 1, 2016 with registered and tax domicile in the Community of Madrid, with a high degree of innovation and demonstrated scientific knowledge. 12 Startups will be selected and each of them will receive 20,000 euros for the development of a “Growth, product development or scaleup plan”. This plan will define the steps and tools necessary for its scaling and consolidation.

The madri+d Foundation plans to continue the two previous aid modalities in 2025, incorporating a new modality for the consolidation of the growth, internationalization and product development of deep tech Startups.
