CASVI School visits IMDEA Materials

40 students from the 2nd year of Bachillerato of CASVI School in Villaviciosa de Odón will visit the facilities of the IMDEA Materials Institute on 22 February 2023. Would you like to know what the things around you are made of? At the IMDEA Materials Institute they will be able to learn a lot about the wonderful world of materials, their design process, how they are made, how we evaluate them... They will also see how to identify the multiple applications they can have. Researchers from the Institute will show you part of their facilities and tell you about the enigmatic world of X-rays and multifunctional nanocomposites. They will also tell you what pulvi-metallurgy is for and what it means to be involved in research.
