Ana de Santiago and Lesly Ayala, researchers at IMDEA Water, will bring science and their profession to the classroom. During the activity, key issues will be addressed such as what is the usual path of the scientific career, the bias observed in women in this path and in its recognition, and how stereotypes and the lack of references affect girls in the choice of scientific careers. Several of these questions will be answered through the presentation of the professional career of the researchers. Activity carried out with the collaboration of the following project: Nat4Health "Antibiotics, hormones, persistent and mobile organic contaminants and pathogens, the complex mixture in agriculture and livestock scenario. Risk to health or natural attenuation?" (2021-2025). Grant PID2020-118521RB-I00 funded by MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033. IPs: Raffaella Meffe y Ana de Santiago Martín.
