Do you know what is the main component of artificial skin that is already manufactured by 3D bioprinting in research laboratories? The answer is “hydrogel”. If you want to know more about these polymers, how they are used in the area of tissue engineering and learn about other relevant issues about artificial skin, you can sign up for this talk and ask your questions. In addition, we will show how graphene can provide hydrogels with "intelligent" capabilities, giving them a multitude of applications, such as in the treatment of serious wounds of extensive burn patients. This activity is carried out within the framework of CONEX-Plus, a project financed by the UC3M, the European Commission through the Marie Sklodowska-Curie COFUND action (GA 801538) of the European Framework Program Horizon 2020. The scientific project that is developed is calls: “Synergy between 3D bioprinting of functional human skin and bactericidal graphene: new approaches for wound healing and infections treatment_3DSkG”. NOTe. It will also be possible to carry out the activity online, through a link that you will obtain for those who register.
