You will discover where the micro and nanoplastics present in the environment come from and you will identify their relationship with the water cycle and human activities. You will understand the importance of rational consumption and sustainable management of the plastics we use.
During the demonstration, we will connect everyday plastics with micro and nanoplastics occurring in the environment. We will identify through a graphic illustration their sources and fate in the environment. We will use microscopes to see the different shapes and sizes of microplastics and a model to visualize soil contamination by these tiny particles.
