During the week of academic and professional orientation of the Colegio Nstra. Señora del Buen Consejo, we will have the presence of Jesús Miguel Pradillo Justo, professor and researcher at the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology of the Faculty of Medicine of the UCM, who will bring his experience and research on the human brain to the classroom, as part of the Researchers at Schools program of the XIII European Researchers' Night. In this interactive talk we will briefly see the anatomy of this organ, its different parts and their functions, as well as the type of cells that make it up. In addition, he will explain what stroke is, its types, treatment and how its study is approached from the laboratory.
