Under the 'Researchers at Schools' program, next Monday we will be celebrating the Europe's Day together with the IES Príncipe Felipe of the Community of Madrid with a scientific conference. We will have the collaboration of María González Pérez, a researcher at the Carlos III Health Institute (ISCIII), who will introduce us to immunology with an explanation of how the scientific method is applied in the laboratory and, finally, a glimpse of his thesis work, focusing on the concept of 'Trained Immunity'. All this focused on basic science and its social impact, in line with the European Missions and the International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development. Students will intervene at all times to expose their knowledge and doubts, ultimately concluding in a debate open to all kinds of questions.
