Used for thousands of years, powder or powder metallurgy technology allows us to manufacture parts and materials that would not otherwise be viable. In this workshop, you will learn what powder metallurgy is, what we can manufacture with it and how we can apply it to solve the challenges that lie ahead. The session begins with an introductory talk, followed by a demonstration accompanied by videos in which you can compare the different stages of the process and materials and see how these materials are studied. Finally, there will be a colloquium where participants and speakers will be able to exchange ideas on technological challenges where the materials, and in particular those obtained by this technique, are essential.
