In honour of 2021 as International Year of Fruits and Vegetables, in this workshop we will delve into these two major food groups to see what lies beyond avocado, potatoes, peas and tomato. Among so many flavours, colours and smells, we will discover the most extravagant foods in the diet.
Theoretical part:
We will explain the dietary recommendations for food consumption (frequencies, quantities, portions, etc.), including fruits and vegetables, as well as nutrient composition, benefits of their consumption and their role in maintaining a good nutritional state.
Practical part:
It consists of a show cooking in which we will show different recipes with these foods that will help us integrate them into our usual diet.
Teaching materials:
Complementary material will be provided to the email with which the attendees have signed up, which will include the recipes worked on throughout the workshop.
