In this online workshop participants will see and interact with immersive educational tools to learn about genetic edition in agriculture, in particular its application to produce more sustainable and healthier chicory. New Plant Breeding Techniques will be shown through videos developed at the CHIC project and two applications developed by the Interactive Systems-DEI Lab UC3M research group will be presented: CHIC-Bubbles, a VR exploration space where participants will learn about this topic using their own computer if not VR glasses available; and myCHICfarm an Augmented Reality game to apply this knowledge using MS Hololens 2.
