This activity allows an interactive visit to the outdoor mesocosm facilities and the biodiversity lagoon of the IMDEA Water Institute. This activity is intended for all kind of audiences and will provide insights on aspects related to aquatic ecology and ecotoxicology. Through this activity we expect to raise awareness about how our daily habits and chemical products we use can affect the organisms that inhabit our rivers and lakes. We will provide multimedia content to show how researchers work in the laboratory and in the field, and will show some peculiarities of some aquatic organisms.
The free virtual visit will be available during the 27th and 28th of November, but on the 27th there will also be a live guided tour led by the researchers of the Ecotoxicology group of the IMDEA Water Institute.
