Bacteria can be comic: microbiology and cartoons

Online activity: In this activity, we will walk along with kids into the discovery of the microscopic world, by fusing comics and science. Comics generated by our group will be used as triggers to discover the microscopic world around us. We will make a tour through different scenarios where microbial life can be seen with the naked eye (cyanobacterial blooms, symbiosis, and biological nitrogen fixation, food, etc.). We will also make a tour of the lab, showing how microbiologists work and what microorganisms look like when under the microscope. We will close the activity with a round of games and answer questions to kids.
