What happens when the brain stops communicating with the body? When a spinal cord injury happens, the communication between the brain and the organs responsible of the senses and movement stops. Everything works perfectly, but when there is no communication, the person stops feeling and being able to move. Could be this reversible? That is the objective of ByAxon! A novel initiative that seeks the development of a neural bypass based on nanotechnology. We will talk about the project and we will simulate the function of a neuron in the lab. Do not miss it!
